Loskop Dam filled to the brim

The Loskop Dam will be a sight to behold for travellers this weekend and is overflowing after heavy rainfall.

The Department of Water and Sanitation has informed that the dam currently stands at 102 per cent.

According to a strong intake, the levels are expected to rise to 110 to 115 per cent by tomorrow.

The Olifants River will be receiving a strong surge of water and residents and fishermen are advised to expect rising river levels.
