Thieves target shade nets (again)

Brandmuller Attorneys in John Magagula Street have become the new victims of shade net thieves.

Mr Gustav Brandmuller said the culprits damaged the gate motor to get their hands on the shade nets.

He said that they did not break the gates to the offices, which leads one to the impression that they were just after the shade netting.

• In November and December last year, there were a lot of thefts of shade netting and thieves targeted OH Frewin Printers three times in three weeks. Mr Arthur Hill (Dagpatrollie) mentioned at the time that he believed homeless people were cutting the nets off to sell them.
