Help Lewe in Liefde aid the homeless

In the spirit of ubuntu and Mandala magic, the Lewe in Liefde organisation would like to renovate and improve the house for the homeless and feed the poor through the Koinonia Farm project.

They aim to create an essentials pack for those in need this Mandala Day and urge residents to help donate non-perishable goods, blankets, scarves, beanies, gloves, toiletries, socks, sweetie packs, kiddies’ toys, tea or coffee, sugar, creamer, canvas bags, or backpacks (to store the goodies).

The organisation has set up a BackaBuddy campaign to help renovate the house for the homeless on the Koinonia Farm.

“There is still plenty needed for the current house, including ceiling boards, windows, tiles, and grout. We also wish to get solar power on the farm as the transformers were stolen along with the cables, and there is currently no power on the farm,” said Judy van Deventer

“We are also developing a 5km hiking trail to try and create an income for the farm.”
