Hendricks in another Paralympic final!

Nathan Hendricks has qualified for his second Paris 2024 Paralympic Games final.

Despite not getting his hand on a coveted medal in last night’s 100m Butterfly finals, Nathan Hendricks will have a chance to remedy his bid for Paralympic glory tonight, having just qualified for the finals of the 100m Backstroke.

With a time of 1:03:53, Hendricks finished fifth in his heat, squeaking into the final top eight.

Hendricks’ time is less than four seconds away from an expected podium finish, with the top three qualifiers having obtained a sub-60-second race time.

This will mark Hendricks’ second finals appearance in as many days, with the Midwit Swimming Club legend making Middelburg and his country proud with every stroke in the Parisian pool.
