Nathan Hendricks finishes third in heat to secure place in 400m Freestyle final

South African swimming star Nathan Hendricks has qualified for yet another final at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, this time, with his highest placement yet.

Nathan Hendricks has qualified for his third consecutive Paralympic final appearance in as many days, with the Midwit Swimming Club sensation booking a place in the 400m Freestyle final.

Hendricks’ time of 4:17:07 was the fifth fastest finish overall, and the third quickest in his heat.

The swimming sensation’s time in Paris has been an enormous success thus far, finishing 8th in the 100m Butterfly finals on Thursday night, and 7th in the 100m Backstroke finals yesterday evening.

Hendricks will be back in the pool tonight, with Day 3’s Para Swimming Finals to begin at 17:30.
