The storm and accompanying rainfall are expected to begin at 13:00 and kick into fifth gear by 16:00.
This follows last night’s rain, with a Kanonkop resident measuring 20mm of rainfall over a 24-hour period from 06:00 yesterday to this morning.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) predicts 10mm of rainfall today, with only a 60% chance of rain.
However, the SAWS Radar Storm Tracker shows no sign of a storm, as seen below:

AccuWeather’s probability of precipitation is at 75%, with rain expected to peak at 16:00.
AccuWeather also believes thunderstorms are expected this evening at 23:00.
Sunny skies are expected to return tomorrow.
