Man stabbed to death in front of wife

Residents swarming murder scene, say children are unsafe

A man has been killed, while the robbers spared his partner, in the park on the corner of Oos and Zuid Street moments ago.

The man and woman were targeted in the park which residents say is a local hangout for loiterers.

The park is known for excessive public drinking and parents have refused their children access to the park due to the ongoing dangers.

There’s been robberies in the park before.

The man was stabbed by his attackers while his wife is unharmed, but in shock.

The deceased is said to be a teacher.

The robbers fled with cash and cell phones.

The victim and his wife went to the OK Grocer for shopping, and fell prey to the robbers on their return home.
