In loving memory of Elizabeth Leal

Friends and family will bid farewell to Elizabeth Leal tomorrow with a funeral service in her honour.

Elizabeth passed away after a short illness on November 2.

According to a dear friend, Ann Matthews, Elizabeth, fondly known as Liz by friends, has been a member of the Middelburg community since 1997.
She worked for many years in a highly esteemed position as secretary at Columbus Stainless and was a well-known parishioner of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where she was loved and respected.

During her retirement, she spent her twilight years as a resident of Vergeet My Nie old age home.

A funeral service in her honour will be held this Saturday, 11:00 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (194 Cowen Ntuli street).

Ann described Liz as a dear friend for many years.
“She was an inspiration and a truly elegant lady.”
