WATCH: Traffic was brought to a standstill on N4 following trio of accidents

The N4, between the Midwest Weighbridge and Olifants River, direction eMalahleni, has been reopened.

One of the several accidents on the N4, between the Midwest Weighbridge and Olifants River, direction eMalahleni, has been cleared, with the N4 now reopened.

It has been reported on the Traffic Alert WhatsApp group that up to three different accidents have taken place past the Middelburg/eMalahleni tollgate, but before the casino.

This had led to large swaths of traffic remaining at a standstill, but congestion should be easier with the clearing of the scenes.
