Care Village Lights Festival returns on November 25

The Middelburg Care Village’s spectacular annual Lights Festival celebration is only 2 weeks away, with promising dazzling lights, delicious food, and family fun.

Set to take place from November 25 to December 18, the festival will light up the grounds of the non-profit children’s home, offering an awe-inspiring display of holiday cheer.

The festival will be open to the public daily from 17:30 to 21:30, excluding Sundays, giving families, friends, and visitors of all ages the chance to stroll through enchanting light displays, shop from local vendors, and enjoy a variety of food options at the festival’s Food Court.

Entry tickets will be priced at R40 per person, with pensioners enjoying a discounted rate of R30 and children under two entering for free.

Tickets can be pre-booked on www.quicket.com/events – Middelburg Lights Festival 2024.

“This event brings the community together for a good cause. The festival not only spreads joy but also raises vital funds to support the children who call the village home.”

Vendors will offer food, sweets, holiday goods and gifts, ensuring visitors can take home a piece of the festive spirit.

Only a few more vendor spots for non-food items are available, so contact the organisers now to avoid disappointment!

Local entertainment will delight visitors with music and dance, with more information to be shared on social media.

The Middelburg Care Village, which provides a safe home for 108 children, relies on community support and events like the Lights Festival to continue its important and impactful work.

By attending, visitors will be directly contributing to the well-being of these children.

Make sure to mark your calendars and experience the magic of the Middelburg Care Village Lights Festival!
