The grand opening of the Care Village Lights Festival is tonight!

The Middelburg Care Village welcomes the public to come and attend their annual Lights Festival, beginning tonight!

Tonight marks the grand return of the Middelburg Care Village’s Lights Festival, with the official turning on of the lights to mark the start of the festive season.

Open Mondays through Saturdays from 17:30 to 21:30, make sure to come and visit the Care Village on 2 Walter Sisulu Street. Starting tonight, the public is encouraged to enjoy the splendour on offer and bask in the dazzling lights!

The official turning on of the lights will commence at 18:00, but the gates will open at the standard time of 17:30.

A variety of stalls and goodies will also be available for purchase.

Entry fees are set at the following prices:

  • R40 per person
  • R30 for pensioners
  • Free for children under three

“This event brings the community together for a good cause. The festival not only spreads joy but also raises vital funds to support the children who call the village home.”
