Here are the expected Petrol Prices for December

In what is supposedly the most wonderful time of the year, wallets are set to take a walloping nationwide as petrol pricing is set to increase this December.

In addition to year-long savings for Christmas presents, motorists will take another hit this holiday period, with only Petrol 93 believed to be exempt from the rise in costs.

There is hope that Petrol 95 could also see a reduction, but at this stage, it is expected to suffer a minor increase.

Diesel buyers be warned, as the most significant changes will affect 0.05% and 0.005% wholesale the greatest.

With this expected surge, parents can only hope that their children will ask for an eco-friendly electric vehicle or scooter to be placed under their Christmas tree to help keep expenditures down.

Here are the expected changes:

  • Petrol 93 – a decrease of 7–10 cents per litre
  • Petrol 95 – an increase of 2–3 cents per litre
  • Diesel 0.05% – an increase of 47–48 cents per litre
  • Diesel 0.005% – an increase of 47–48 cents per litre
  • Illuminating Paraffin – an increase of 41–43 cents per litre
