A delectable offering that will keep customers coming back for more!
For the first time ever, Mhluzi residents will have their own Chicken Licken to order the legendary Big John and iconic wings.
Today at about 09:00, Executive Mayor Mhlonishwa Masilela, the director of Chicken Licken Adam Erwee, and Henri Neuhoff officially opened South Africa’s beloved chicken brand at eMhluzi Mall.
The fast food restaurant is located on the corner of Ikageng and Tswelopele roads, with a colourful Ndebele mural paying homage to the town’s Ndebele heritage.
The grand opening saw a large crowd outside the store patiently waiting to place their orders.
During the ribbon cutting, Masilela expressed his gratitude to the franchise for boosting Mhluzi’s economy.
The construction of the building took two months, with the final touches taking another two weeks before completion.
The store has ample space for diners, toilets, and a Fly-Thru for those on the move.
At least 28 Steve Tshwete Local Municipality residents were permanently employed.
