OH Frewin Museum for Print and Community Press to close temporarily

OH Frewin Printers in Meyer Street will be closing its famed, and first of its kind, OH Frewin Printing and Community Press Museum for the next two months.

The company wishes to inform residents and visitors that the museum is undergoing major upgrades, which includes construction, and that the museum would be closed during the renovations.

The museum is set to reopen at the end of February.

The museum, the first of its kind in South Africa, is famed for its exhibits which not only delves into the history of the printing industry, but also the community press.

The museum was established in collaboration with the Middelburg Observer.
