Decomposed body found near the N4

At the time of discovery, only his bones were visible, his clothes were not, making it difficult to identify him.

A shocking discovery was made last Friday.

A man’s decomposed remains were found a few kilometres from the new Middelburg District Hospital located near the N4. The body was found near a heap of rubble.

It is not clear how long the deceased has been there for.

At the time of discovery, only his bones were visible, his clothes were not, making it difficult to identify him.

His remains were transported to the Middelburg Forensic Pathology Department, where DNA tests were conducted on him. The samples were transferred to Pretoria.

His identity is unknown at the moment.
