Notice: Interruption of water and electricity in Dennesig and Kanonkop on Tuesday

Residents are asked to store water for domestic use during this period.

On March 11, residents of Steenbok Street (Kanonkop) will suffer an interruption in their water supply and Dennesig will suffer an interruption in their supply of electricity.

Kanonkop’s water interruption will take place from 21:00 until the following morning, March 12, 05:00.

The Steve Tshwete Local Municipality said the interruption is due to the cutover from asbestos cement pipes to new UPVC pipes, as well as the installation of sectional valves.

Dennesig’s power will be affected from 08:00 to 16:00 due to maintenance.
