Reminder: The Middelburg Airshow is set to take to the sky tomorrow

Anticipation is mounting, as tomorrow will see the Middelburg Airshow make its spectacular return at the Middelburg Airfield.

Taking place from 14:00 to 17:00, the entire family is welcome to attend and experience a uniquely awe-inspiring event.

It will feature helicopters, formation flights, aerobatic displays, and vintage and homebuilt aircraft, which will also be an incentive for any aviation superfan.

The Middelburg Aero Club has even more in store, such as a Bell 222 Helicopter, as seen in the cult classic television series AIRWOLF!

The legendary Brian Emmenis will utilise his status as South Africa’s voice of aviation to ‘take the thousands of spectators, strap them in and let them enjoy the flight through commentary’.

Various food and drink vendors will be there to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger. The Round Table Beer Garden will offer its services, with proceeds being donated to local charities.

It is advised you bring your own camping chairs to the event.

Gates open at 12:00, with tickets set at the following prices:
• R100 per adult
• R50 per child
• Free for any child under five.
