Remains of decomposed body still unclaimed

The decaying body was found near a heap of rubble not far from the new district hospital.

It has been a month since a decomposed body of a man was found near the N4.

At the time of discovery, only his bones were visible; his clothes were not, making it difficult to identify him.

Following the discovery, the remains were transported to the Middelburg Forensic Pathology Department, where DNA tests were conducted.

The samples were transferred to Pretoria.

The DNA test has yet to be released, and the family has not claimed the remains yet.
