Woman accused of stabbing lover granted bail

When the police arrived at the house, witnesses identified Mzana.

The woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death earlier this month has been granted bail.

Zandile Mzana (38) made her court appearance last Tuesday in the Middelburg Magistrate’s Court. The matter will resume in April.

It is believed that on March 7, she was at her sister’s house and became angry because she couldn’t find her boyfriend.

When her boyfriend eventually arrived at the house, the couple allegedly started fighting.

Mzana allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed her lover in the chest.

When the police arrived at the house, witnesses identified Mzana.

The boyfriend was found lying on his back with a stab wound on the left of his chest. He was only wearing black jeans and shoes.
