Wife killed, cop husband arrested

A policeman from Siyathuthuka will appear in court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.

Shockwaves rocked the community of Siyathuthuka after they heard that a policeman was arrested for the murder of his wife.

His arrest follows after his wife was shot.

He will be appearing in the Belfast Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

The policeman’s name can not be mentioned, because he did not appear in court yet.

The case was handed over to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID). “IPID confirms that the police officer allegedly involved in this incident was arrested and he will be appearing in court on Tuesday,” said Phaladi Shuping, IPID spokesperson.
