Two trucks were involved in an early morning dustup on the N4.

One of the trucks jackknifed and is obstructing traffic flow.

The incident happened just before the Vandyksdrift offramp, just after the Middelburg Toll Plaza.

Vehicles are passing in a partially open lane, forcing them onto the shoulder of the road.

Recovery services are on the scene.

According to Trac the Westbound lane is obstructed and traffic will continue to flow slowly.

There’s also heavy rain predicted for the remainder of the day, so motorists are urged to keep a safe traveling distance and to reduce speed.
