Cleanup cancelled due to raging river

Klein Olifants in full rage

The cleanup project which would have kicked off next to the Klein Olifants at Meyers-bridge this morning, has been cancelled.

The cleanup project was scheduled for today and tomorrow.

Due to the flooding river, the cleanup has been cancelled.

A new date will be announced soon.

Residents committed to the cleanup in droves, with many offering trucks and equipment to clean overgrown areas that offer hiding place to criminals.

The project is spearheaded by the CPF.
