Columbus Stainless officially opens new factory shop

The grand opening was held last Thursday with local business owners in attendance.

Columbus Stainless has officially launched its much anticipated factory shop.

During the event, the guests were told about the company’s history and its importance as the only steel manufacturing company in Africa.

The establishment of the shop came as a response to the community’s requests.

The organisation said that it heard the community’s pleas and wanted to directly cater to them.

“If you come to our store and do not find what you want, let us know. We value communication.”

The guests were also treated to a guide in the mill, where they got an opportunity to see how steel is produced before heading to the factory shop, where different sheets of different grades are sold.

For enquiries about the store, contact Nokuthula Mntungwa or Dennis Schmidt on 013 247 3431.
