N4 – N12 traffic: several accidents due to dense fog

Motorists travelling on the N4 Wonderfontein and N12 to Johannesburg are advised to exercise caution due to multiple accidents.

N4 Wonderfontein

Two trucks collided on the N4 Wonderfontein early this morning, with one of the trucks catching fire.
The incident was reported at 07:00 on the MP Riots and Traffic group, and took place between the Puma Garage and Carolina turn-off.

N12 split – eMalahleni

Multiple accidents have been reported on the N12, a short distance from eMalahleni, due to dense fog.
Motorist Annemarie du Preez wished to alert other motorists of the heavy fog.

Ms du Preez is headed to Johannesburg and reported that in a distance of 10km, five accidents have occurred.
