Traffic Alert: Meyer Street to be closed again

Motorists are urged to use alternative routes due to the road closure.

Meyer Street, about 50m from the Meyers bridge, is scheduled for repairs today, it’s not clear when it will be reopened.

The closure comes after a sinkhole was reported on Tuesday, leading to the road being closed for two days earlier this week.

Previously, the municipality closed both directions of Brug Street and the Protea and Meyer Street intersection
