Dense fog on the N12 has resulted in a multi-vehicle collision at the Ogies off-ramp.

According to the Traffic Alert WhatsApp group, motorists were alerted to a collision between multiple vehicles at 08:44 this morning.

It is unconfirmed how many vehicles are involved in the collision or how severe the injuries are.

Motorists are advised that the collision has resulted in a back-up in traffic, with traffic standing still on the N12 near eMalahleni, direction Gauteng.

Dense fog is affecting visibility and motorists are urged to drive with caution and expect traffic delays.
