Search for Thabisile continues, K9 dogs sniff for foul play

The young woman from Blinkpan who disappeared on May 30, is still missing.

The Thabethe family is pleading with the community to help them find their missing loved one, Thabisile Thabethe (36).

She was last seen on May 30 at a bar in Blinkpan before heading home.

She lives on Welverdiend farm, which is a 6km walk from the bar where she was last seen.

Since then, the Blinkpan SAPS and community members have been trying to locate her.

According to DA councillor Stefan Smith, Thabisile’s handbag was found at Kwa-Mfefe farm just outside Blinkpan on Saturday.

Blinkpan SAPS organised a K9 unit from Secunda to conduct a search operation today, as the search intensifies.

Anyone with information on Thabisile’s whereabouts can contact Timothy Thabethe on 072 665 6261 or report any information to their nearest police station.
In the meantime, residents are holding onto the hope that Thabisile will be found safe.
