A serious accident has occurred on the N11 in Kranspoort Pass, where a diesel truck and a bakkie have reportedly caught fire following a collision.

The exact number of injured parties remains unclear at this stage, as first responders continue to assess the situation.

Authorities have closed off the pass to allow emergency vehicles to access to the scene. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and make way for rescue vehicles.
