Catholic Rottweilers’ ‘mission’ cut short by SPCA

They wanted to spread the gospel.

Two missing Rottweilers belonging to the local Catholic Church have been found.

The pair, a male and a female, one with a tail and the other without, decided to go on a ‘mission’ last night.

They disappeared from the church grounds next to McDonalds in Cowen Ntuli Street.

It’s unclear how they escaped the yard.

Their mission was, however, cut short by the SPCA.

After a long ‘mission’ both dogs slept comfortably in one of the SPCA’s kennels, where they also received ‘nourishment for the soul’.

The pair will be picked up by their minders soon.

They only wanted to spread the gospel by giving paw and spreading licks.

The church thanks the community for assisting them with tracing the pooches.
