Man stabbed behind SPCA

Broken bottle used to stab man behind SPCA.

A man was stabbed behind the SPCA almost an hour ago.

SPCA personnel requested help around 15:50 after the bleeding man approached them for help.

The area is known to house a number of vagrants.

Many of the homeless people in the area sleep in the bushes next to the railway track.

They also sleep in pipes that have been discarded in the area.

The victim was stabbed in the arm during a scuffle with his attacker.

He was stabbed with a broken bottle.

At least four school kids have also been attacked in areas around the railway line.

In one incident a 14-year boy was strangled and robbed of his phone.

It was the third attack on the same boy this year.

In the attack he was also threatened with a knife, and robbed of his cell phone.

There’s also a school next to the SPCA.

The state veterinary is also located in the area where the violent attack took place.
