Relief for Mhluzi family as missing son found alive in KZN

The family of missing Mhluzi man Sboniso Biyela has confirmed that he was found alive in KwaZulu-Natal after weeks of searching.

The family of Sboniso Biyela (33) has confirmed that he has been found alive after being reported missing on December 17 last year.

Biyela was last seen when he left his home in Plein Street in Mhluzi on his way to work. He never returned home. His disappearance prompted concern from family members and the community.

According to the family, Biyela was found in KwaZulu-Natal last Sunday, following rumours that he was staying with a traditional healer in the Nongoma area.

It is unclear how he ended up in KwaZulu-Natal.

His aunt, Nomusa Msomi, confirmed the news and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Middelburg Observer and members of the public for their support and assistance in helping the family locate their son.
