Busy N11 closed on Saturday

The busy N11, also known as the Loskop Dam road, will be closed to vehicles from 05:00 on Saturday morning and will not reopen until 13:00.

Two blockades will be set up, one at the Harry Gwala Street turn-off at Dennesig and the other at the Damwal business centre just beyond the Loskop Dam wall.

It is a busy route to Limpopo and Zimbabwe, but motorists will have to use alternative routes, such as the Stoffberg road.

The road is closed every year to ensure the safety of runners participating in the Loskop Marathon from Middelburg to Loskopdam, A Forever Resort.
