Healthcare access for all

The 220-bed hospital, situated next to Middelburg Mall along the N4, will serve patients from Middelburg and surrounding communities. The facility includes three operating theatres, a 24-hour accident and emergency department, outpatient services and specialist wards.

Addressing guests, Ramaphosa said the government would continue building and upgrading public hospitals while working towards the implementation of National Health Insurance.
