Special voter applications open

Elderly residents and voters with limited mobility can register for home visits ahead of the November municipal election.

Applications for special votes in the upcoming November municipal election have officially opened.

Who qualifies for a special vote?

Only individuals with limited mobility who are unable to travel to a polling station qualify for a home visit.
People over 60 may also apply for a special vote, as well as those who will not be available on election day.

These special votes are cast two days before the election.

Councillor contacts for local wards

Two councillors ready to assist voters are Johann Dyason and Helda de Klerk.
They advised voters requiring assistance to send them their names, identity numbers, addresses and mobile phone numbers via secure, direct channels.

Voters registered at Laerskool Dennesig or Hoërskool Kanonkop should contact Dyason, while those registered at Laerskool Kanonkop should contact De Klerk.
