Update: Bones could be missing Swazi man’s
A family has come forward with information that can lead to the identification of the bones found at Botshabelo on 22 October.

According to the Middelburg SAPS, a Swazi family, came forward after hearing about the discovery from friends in Dennilton, who learnt about the find in the Observer. W/o Lize de Witt says, that the family gave DNA samples in order to verify whether the remains are that of a missing family elder.

The elderly man went missing in Middelburg many months ago, after leaving the house of the people he was staying with. He was never found.
Police will only identify the family, once DNA confirmation is obtained.
It could take up to six months for the results to be released.
