Many changes at Midmed
Midmed entered its third stage of development, which brought about a number of changes, and many more can be expected in the near future.
The latest change was the relocation of physician, Dr Augustine Chaumba, from his consulting rooms in OR Tambo Street, to the administrative building of the hospital in Crocker Street.
Doctors to follow soon, are the orthopedic surgeons, Dr Matthys van Wyk and Dr Dewatt Tromp.
The administrative personnel will also move, to make space for various doctor’s consulting rooms in the future.
“We ask Dr Chaumba’s patients to take note of the move, we have had to station security personnel in front of his old office where patients kept showing up for consultations,” the hospital’s communications officer, Ms Helani Nel, told the Observer.
Dr Chaumba’s patients can reach his office on the old existing number, namely 013 243 1768.
“We will communicate the movement of other doctors when it occurs,” Ms Nel confirmed.
