‘Big Fish’ in ICU
National gospel artist, Sipho Makhabane(50), was involved in a horrific car accident near the Alzu petrol station on the 28th of December.
Mr Makhabane was driving alone when his car collided with another vehicle.
In the other vehicle was a couple, the woman sustained serious injuries and was admitted at the Middelburg Hospital.
Mr Makhabane sustained serious head injuries and was in a coma for a week at the Life Midmed Hospital.
“The cause of the accident is suspected to have been the rainy weather, ” said Captain Khanyisile Zwane of SAPS.
According to Helanie Nel of Life Midmed Hospital the singer is still recovering in ICU.
The singer also known as “Big Fish” is well known as a man of God and a lot of fans are touched by the accident.
