Make your own peanut butter with this easy recipe

Creamy and delicious, this homemade peanut butter recipe is easy to make and a firm favourite among kids of all ages.

Peanut butter is one of the world’s most loved bread spreads and can be a healthy source of protein and good fats. Sadly, many store-bought peanut butters are also laden with sugar and additives that out weight all the healthy elements.

Making your own peanut butter can ensure you give your kids all the creamy nutty goodness without the added junk.

This recipe is quick, easy and budget-friendly with only four ingredients.

Homemade peanut butter recipe

  • Shelled, skinned, and roasted peanut
  • 1 cup honey or sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1tsp vegetable oil (prevents separating the oils in peanuts)

  • Grind peanuts in a food processor until fine
  • Add the other ingredients and grind together until smooth and creamy
