How to log your municipal issues

JOBURG - The City of Johannesburg relies on residents to log service delivery failures in order for them to be attended to. Entities are unlikely aware of problems unless they have been reported.

Looking and logging, as the council terms it, is vital, ward councillor David Potter has said. Knowing the right methods and contact details to call to report your issues is just as important. Potter added, “If your query has not been attended to after the service time indicated below your query, please get in touch with the ward councillor for your area, stating the reference number, date logged and detail.”

Below is a list of methods for logging matters with the relevant entities and the service level agreement turn-around time for specific issues. All matters can also be logged by calling 011-375-5555 or 0860-56-2874. For emergencies contact 011-375-5911.
