Galaxy Sparks outplay Midrand Royals in netball friendly
The young players gave it their best, but there could only be one winner.
Curro Sagewood hosted young players in netball friendly matches where U9, U10, U11, U13, and U15 players showed off their skills on March 14.
Midrand Royals played against Galaxy Sparks in the U10 match. Sparks didn’t hold back, giving the Royals a tough time.

Winning 12-1, Galaxy Sparks rejoiced after the match, leaving the Royals disappointed but definitely looking forward to improving in future matches.

Coach of the Galaxy Sparks Phuti Lusenga expressed her joy in how her team played.
“I’m really impressed with my team. Hey, everyone listened to the instructions. Oh, and the shooters were on point. They really did a good job,” she said.
Midrand Royals coach Tshepang Malapile expressed how proud she is of her team.

“This year, the aim is to get the U10s match time more than they did last year because we didn’t have a solid U10 team before. I’m really proud of how they played because they can catch the ball, and they really understand the rules of the game.”
Goal shooter for Galaxy Sparks, Kgalela Nkule, highlighted some of her favourite moments during the match.
“I love how we were goal shooting as a team, and we really played well, so I’m really happy,” said Kgalela.
Both teams ended the game on a good note by shaking hands after the match.
