67 Blankets and Cedar Lakes Estate donates blankets to New Jerusalem Children’s Home
This generous contribution of 120 blankets, arrived just in time to help keep the children warm during the cold winter months.
67 Blankets, in collaboration with Cedar Lakes Estate, donated 120 blankets to the disadvantaged children of the New Jerusalem Children’s Home in President Park on May 30.
A group of ladies called the ‘KnitWits’, who are part and parcel of 67 Blankets, and are also residents of Cedar Lakes Estate, selflessly dedicate their time to crochet blankets and hand them to worthy charitable causes. These blankets were well received, in time to keep the children warm this winter.

Mandy Gilder, who is the secretary of New Jerusalem Children’s Home’s board of directors, also gave a touching account of her experience, of how being a part of the board has filled her with so much joy, as well as the important work that the home does for these children.
