HAPPENING NOW: Noordwyk’s Liebenberg Road closed after shooting
Unconfirmed reports suggest one person has been shot and killed in Noordwyk on Liebenberg Road.
A white Toyota SUV driver was shot at killed before his car ploughed into a wall on Liebenberg Road earlier today (September 16).
The details are still sketchy, but according to one resident, the driver seems to have been when heavily armed men driving a blur Toyota Corolla open fire on him.

Ria Sebetsa Private Security guards were the first came across the scene and were the first responders.
Ria Sebetsa Security said, “A vehicle drove into a wall. A reaction vehicle is standing by as we speak. Awaiting more info.”
An unnamed private security company said,” A drive-by shooting occurred on Liebenberg Road, approximately 15 minutes ago.
Our members are on the scene, and the scene has been cordoned off.
All relevant authorities are also on the scene. Please avoid Liebenberg and Kiaat streets and Liebenberg and Karee streets.”
