Connect To Feed turns 6 years old in 2025, to the delight of the cofounder

After another successful year of spreading happiness, Connect To Feed vows to include child-headed homes and the elderly through the launch of Share-a-Smile drives.

Connect To Feed, a Midrand-based foundation, vows to continue with its core mission of spreading happiness through regular food and essentials drives across Midrand, Tembisa and neighbouring communities.

On November 4, the foundation turned six years old to the delight of its founders, co-founders, donors and volunteers.

Co-founder Upama Srivastava said this year was a success as they not only celebrated their sixth year, but managed to mobilise an incredible volunteer base – families, youth and working professionals – who consistently showed up to pack, deliver and serve.

“We also strengthened local partnerships that helped us reach more beneficiaries with dignity [school support, elders’ hampers, and emergency assistance where needed]. As a foundation, we also marked our six-year journey of Connect To Feed with renewed energy and community participation,” said Srivastava.

She added they have also collaborated with community organisations on special outreach days and festive drives that created smiles and togetherness.

Heading into 2026, Connect To Feed hopes to launch Share-a-Smile, a food and hygiene hamper drive, while deepening support for children’s homes and the elderly.

“Heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers, donors, well-wishers and community partners. In particular, thank you to Exaze Technology for steadfast support and collaborative spirit, and Manish Gupta and the Classic India team for always adding warmth and sweetness to our community.”

She said every hamper was a promise that kindness still moved the world.
