Carlswald sound healer helps residents find emotional balance

Sound healer ad Carlswald resident Tshwarello 'Makhosi Zenande' Ngwane hopes people leave Philani Holistic Wellness understanding that healing is possible, rest is necessary, and that they do not have to carry emotional heaviness alone.

Tshwarello ‘Makhosi Zenande’ Ngwane is a Carlswald resident and sound healer, originally from Ga-Rankuwa.

Her work focuses on emotional restoration through sound therapy, which is why she founded Philani Holistic Wellness, a wellness initiative that uses sound frequencies as a tool to support mental clarity, relaxation, and nervous system balance.

Her journey into sound healing began last year, after she realised that her ability to heal was part of a generational gift passed down through her grandfather.

“Healing is deeply personal to me, because during my own healing journey, modern medicine could not fully help me

It was only after I accepted my spiritual calling, which was passed down to me by my grandfather almost three years ago, that I began to truly understand the body’s natural intelligence and its ability to heal itself. “

This discovery inspired her to turn her spiritual calling into a structured wellness practice. “Through holistic healing modalities, such as sound vibrations, crystals, herbs, and energy work, I experienced profound healing and balance.

That journey inspired me to create Philani Holistic Wellness in 2025, a safe and intentional space where people can access natural healing and reconnect with themselves.”

Makhosi explains that sound healing has become important in the modern life, where many people experience constant pressure from work, relationships, and daily responsibilities.

She shared some of rewarding moments for her, since she started helping people.

“Hearing people that I held sessions with share that they finally slept peacefully, felt emotionally lighter, less anxious, more connected to themselves, or even experienced deep spiritual clarity reminds me why this work matters.”

Her sessions are open to a wide range of participants, including individuals, couples, and corporate teams seeking wellness experiences.

Children from the age of six are also allowed to take part in the sessions. However, she advises that sound healing is not suitable for everyone, such as pregnant women, people with serious heart conditions, and those under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The mother of three continues to dedicate her work to helping people achieve emotional balance, peace, and alignment through Philani Holistic Wellness.

“My vision for Philani Holistic Wellness is to launch the Philani Sound Healing Academy, a wellness centre that will be the home of Philani Holistic Wellness, but, overall, to continue building a human-centred wellness community where healing is accessible.”
