TS Galaxy opens doors for young football hopefuls at national talent trials in Midrand

From U13 hopefuls to near-professionals, young footballers are giving it their all as TS Galaxy searches for raw talent in Midrand.

For many young footballers, trials represent more than just a selection process; they are a gateway to hope, exposure, and a possible future in professional football.

It is with this spirit that the TS Galaxy National Football Talent Identification Trials are currently underway, providing aspiring players with a rare opportunity to turn their dreams into reality.

The initiative has drawn aspiring players from across the country, all eager to showcase their skills and earn a place within the professional football pipeline.

Trials take place daily from 08:00 to 13:00, with participants required to arrive prepared with a valid ID or birth certificate, football boots, shin guards, a training kit, and a registration fee of R400.

TS Galaxy president Tim Sukazi emphasised that the club is on a genuine search for quality talent, regardless of background or circumstance. “Ultimately, the child’s potential, at least in our eyes, should be of a level to take them through the years, up until they see a day in professional football.”

He said that they are a club redefining the opportunities in football. Current football has been known to be for the poor, destitute, and all that, but they believe that is a fallacy. Talent is talent, wherever it comes from. If a child has talent – God-given talent – they have to be afforded the opportunity.
