Local organisation calls on deejays to take part in the upcoming tour

MIDRAND – Local clothing brand, Run Midrand has called on all local deejays to connect with them for a chance to be on their tour lineup around the country.

Local clothing brand, Run Midrand has called on all local deejays to connect with them for a chance to be on their tour lineup around the country.

Founder of Run Midrand, Lebogang Chiloane, said the tour named RunTour2021 took place annually. He said they selected deejays to give them a chance to tour and get them more exposure. “This in turn will allow them to gain more listenership or fans in other places and provinces in order for everyone to gain more clientele, bookings as well as customers,” he added.
“We want deejays who will be able to go on a tour with us. A responsible deejay who will be able to leave his or her family for a weekend. A very strong reliable deejay who can play all types of genres… Those interested must be creative.”

Chiloane explained the selection process. “Normally we used to call deejays to come to record a live session. We now do it differently. Any interested deejay must contact us and share a link to their mixes or we will go to their gigs and listen to their different sets, then select.

“So far we have already done Pretoria… Currently, we have deejays for our Soweto gig coming up. There are, however, more gigs to come. We have one in Rustenburg and two others in Mafikeng and then Phalaborwa.”
