Local business magnate helps needy learners

“Ploughing back to the community is very important if we want to make South Africa a better country and produce educated future leaders".

KANYAMAZANE – Private sectors and local business people are responding well to the call of making education everybody’s business.

This became evident when the Barberton Mines handed over eight classrooms and an admin block at the Mjindini Secondary School.

And on Friday, a local businessman, Dr Godfrey Mnisi donated school uniforms to learners coming from disadvantaged family backgrounds.

Mnisi said, “Ploughing back to the community is very important if we want to make South Africa a better country and produce educated future leaders.
“I decided to get involved in our children’s education by buying these learners uniforms and also paying for their school fees because I know that education is the best weapon you can arm these future leaders with,” he explained .
