Relaxed soulful Sundays at Emnotweni

The well recognized Sunday Sessions have been hosted in various cities across the country, giving people a relaxed afternoon to share with loved ones over good soulful music.

MBOMBELA – Usher in the new week with the Sunday Soul Session at Emnotweni. Join DJ Paul Mtirara at The Arena on 15 November from 16:00 for an intimate experience for lovers and friends with the popular Metro FM Sunday line up.

The well recognized Sunday Sessions have been hosted in various cities across the country, giving people a relaxed afternoon to share with loved ones over good soulful music.

The Sunday Soul Session, at times, features Wilson B Nkosi and Ismail Abrahams who offer delightful entertainment and soothing sounds for audiences to take them into the new workweek.

Wilson B. Nkosi (Wilson Bonginkosi Nkosi) hosts a soulful show, Sounds and Stuff Like That, on Sundays from 09:00 – 12:00. During his time at Metro FM, he has hosted every show apart from the Jazz slot. He previously worked as a TV presenter for Sidlalela Intsha, Sidlalela Ulutsha – a song and music video request show and was one of SABC1 Jam Alley’s first presenters when the show launched in 1992.

Paul started his career at community radio station, Tru-FM and later moved to Metro FM where he now hosts the popular Sunday Show, Chill Factor from 12:00 – 15:00 and weekday showThe Crack of Dawn from 03:00 – 06:00 onMonday to Thursday.

The DJ Man, Ismail Abrahams, originally from Durban, kicked off his career working at Mr Price retail radio in the late 90’s. He now hosts the Prime Time NytRadio show, weekdays between 21:00 – 00:00.

The Emnotweni leg of the Sunday Soul Session will feature DJ Paul Mtirara.
