Local rising star ready to shine

There's a new kid on the block who will soon be on the list of the province's stars shaping the music industry.

Born in Jeppes Reef and raised in Barberton, Larry’s love for music began in church when he started singing at the age of eight. In his teen days, he joined a band called MusicBox until he was recruited by music agent, Stan Ross while performing at an event in his neighbourhood.

In February this year he was signed to Men Behind Records where Jay Spitter of music hit Ujola Nami was initially signed before joining Mabala Noise.

Larry’s first professional album, My Life, will be launched on Sunday at the Casambo Exclusive Guest Lodge. Stan Ross, his manager and owner of Men Behind Records sings praises of Larry’s talent and passion for music.
