KABOKWENI – A total of 47 students was taken to Themba Hospital, which is adjacent to the Mpumalanga Nursing  College.

Of the 47, a total of 33 was seen and discharged, 16 are still being observed.

The Mpumalanga Department of Health has learned with shock about college students in KaBokweni who were diagnosed with food poisoning.

MEC for health Mr Gillion Mashego has already ordered a full investigation into the incident. “We will work around the clock to get to the bottom of this,” said Mashego.
